    Waterhead Rainbow

This was taken in the Lakes (Windermere) luckily the weather changed just as we got on the boat and I took this shot off the back along with everyone else on board with a camera - front end must have been sticking up a bit!
    EOS 400D 18-55mm IS, f13, 1/80 sec ISO100.
Any ideas on how to combat the burn-out from the white buildings?
    or other comments of course?
(It is sharp in reality - low res upload makes it look soft)

    Super shot...

Use the "Burn" tool in PhotoShop to tone down the blown whites...

Or; if the original is a RAW file, try doing a fake HDR from the single exposure. This might result in quite a bit of noise in the sky, so you'd then need to run it through something like Noise Ninja or (my preferred) Neat Image...
I actively encourage constructive comment & critique of any image I post!
Feel free to edit & re-post as you see fit - but please - tell me what you have done to 'improve' the shot!
