Nice set Paul. I like the boathouse and the blossom on the water.

#2 has potential although it probably needed an ND filter to hold back some of that light and avoid highlight clipping

        Thanks Mazzie and Donald,

Donald you are right, I have now added a second shot, where a Lightroom 3 Grad has been added.

This is the very reason why I have been asking questions elsewhere on the Forum about Filters and their usages.

A nice reminder of warmer weather and stunning scenery well captured

the filter has improved the clouds but i think it has overcooked the blue sky which now looks a little un natural. I think applying a layer mask to the filter layer and painting with black over that area at an opacity of around 50% would have been better (although dont know if you could do that with lightroom)

Wrynose and the Boathouse are the standout shots for me. Very nice.
Please don't ask about my kit, it's embarrassing!

              Thanks Stan and Nicko,

You are absolutely right Stan, the blue is too blue. I will have a look at the History of changes to the image which Lightroom records, I think I may well have increased the saturation of the Blue.

Prefer the panorama shot, nice balace of colours with the hovering cloud sat above the fells.

                              Thanks Kevin,

It was cheating really as I had seen a pic of it on the Forum some time ago, so I was actually out looking for it!!! I can't claim to have seen it and thought, "oh that will make a good picture"
