    Yorkshire Wolds

I had a walk round the Yorkshire Wolds today as it is only a 10 minute walk from my house. It was very cloudy but needed to get out and photograph something. Typically as soon as I got home the sun came out.

#1 looks a bit dark on my laptop. So where in the East Riding are we?

#3 has my attention ... the lane ... and what looks like a structure on the far hill (about 1/5 in from LHS).

Thanks MX5 must be the screen on my laptop as number 1 looks okay on mine. It is taken from the millington woods area Just outside Pocklington there is an open access walk you start from the free car park at Millington woods if you search for open access walks you can search for walks in your area.

Nice series Paul. Like the converging lines that the hills make in the 2nd image.

              Thanks Tom

We had a landscape photographer come to my camera club who lives in the area and he says that he now only photographs the local area and I thought I would go out and try to emulate his photos. Just wish that the sun was out to get the different shadows on the hills

It was on the program I emailed you with too be fair he basically just showed us his images and told us how he doesn't follow the rule of thirds but I still managed to pick up some good advice and ideas.
