Two Rocks in a River

There must be a story as to how these two rocks ended up in the river like this, but I quite liked the mirror-image appearance. Near Crieff, Scotland.

They do look like two slumbering giants facing one another.

Thanks Di - maybe they re fossilised, prehistoric tadpoles! But then, what size of frogs were around then!!
