Did you use a Polariser Stan?

I ask this because the sky and clouds look really good, just the sort of effect a Polariser would produce.

        Thanks Dave and Scott

No polariser Dave. I was using my Canon 10-22 wide angle which just has a UV filter and i dont know why but it always gives that rich and saturated colour to the sky, something i dont get when using my 17-85

by way of comparison here is one shot with the 17-85 - the sky is far less vibrant

Just wondering you can see salt pans from Mirador del Rio. Wonder if they are the same ones.

Beautiful clouds and sky in the first. Feels like you are stood there.

I think there are 2 on the island , one in the north and this one in the south close to the Timanfaya National Park
