    Nostell Priory, Wakefield

We had a nice walk around Nostell Priory today. I've never been before but drove past it by accident on the way to a garden centre so stopped off for a walk.

Never been to Nostell. Think I might have to.

Unsure about the plane trail in number two, might have been better if you could still see the plane.

But have to say. Love the first one. Like how the colours and the light work. Do wish I'd took that!

            Thanks Dave, Stan & Di.

Ideally I would have been taking these with the sun behind me and lighting up the autumn trees. But as always I had family in tow and that would have meant a long walk around to the other side of the river. So I had to improvise and use the tree branches to take away the harshness of the sun.

I tries cloning out the plane trail in lightroom with the heal tool but it just looked too fake for my liking and I don't have photoshop so looks like it'll have to stay. Shame because I think I would have preferred #2 if it wasn't for that.

Very colourful shots Lee. I wouldn't worry about the trail personally, I think the image is strong enough for it not to be distracting.
