    Glasgows Urban Landscape

Woke up this morning, looked outside, saw the sunshine and got to work faster than normal. Went a wee walk to 'redo' some shots I was never happy with.

STV News building - Not anything special, but the clouds were cool :)

Clyde Arc, River Clyde - Never been able to fit this view in. Was so happy to get this shot.

Kept to a strict small aperture with these shots. f/11 seemed to work really well. DOF preview button is something I never used to use, now I do lol.

Just unbelievable camera. I honestly cannot believe it. Just opened so many avenues for me now that I see how good the pics are coming off that sensor. That's not even the best lens either. Crikey.

    :)

Great shots Paul and something for me to look forward to. I picked up my 5DIII last Saturday and all I have managed is practice shots of my home office. I am amazed at the quality of the practice hand held shots taken in virtually no light, no flash, and crazy high ISO.

I am off to the Pembrokeshire Coast next week so am looking forward to giving the new toy a bit of a hiding. I will have my 7D as my backup.

Have a look at the 5DIII Field Guide by Charlotte Lowrie from Amazon it is well worth the £9 pound investment. I have used her field Guides for my 50D and the 7D and found them invaluable.

Nice shots, I like them both.
I was over that at lunchtime and went over that bridge before my colleague took me back to the airport.

I was over covering the fire at Glasgow School of Art for the press at lunchtime then after work. Glasgow was a busy place today.
