    Sunset at Saltwick Bay

Had another trip out with forum member (and my landscape mentor) AndyA tonight. We met at Saltwick bay, but when we got there we met with thick fog. We waited in the cars for a bit and the fog started to lift a bit so we headed down to the beach to see what we could get. These are my favourite from the trip out.

They're beauties! I think the colour in the first shot, is simply fantastic. Mine look very cold in comparison to that one. :-) I hope you're going to print at least one of these?

Thanks for your company again, although I seriously think we need to re-visit this location.

Thanks Andy I agree we certainly need to re-visit Saltwick Bay either for another attempt at a nice sunset shot or early morning to try and get a sunrise shot.

The colours were helped by my cheap grad filters as I knew that they apply a slight purple to the image.

I think the first one may well be getting sent to my friend who does all of my printing.

Thanks Wayne. I have known Andy for years before I have even got into photography. It is good to go out with someone on photo trips as you can bounce ideas off each other. Plus on this occasion you have to sets of eyes on the incoming tide

Thanks Peter I was worried when we got there you literally couldn't see the beach from the top of the cliff when we arrived

Two nice images. I like the first shot marginally better; however both are very good. There is something haunting and nice about both images.
