Berwick on Tweed - old and new

In contrast to the beginning of the week, the morning in Berwick was quite overcast so had to make the best of the available light.

This is the old and new bridges with the rowing clubhouse on the left

The lead in by use of the path works Stan👍
Is the nearer bridge the rail crossing and the far one the road crossing, I should know given the number of times I've gone to Auld Reekie on the train 😉

Very well done Stan, been to Berwick several times but never managed to get a shot like that.

          Thanks Guys

they are both road bridges Peter, the nearer one is the "new" bridge and the further one, the "old" brifge, which is one way. The third bridge, is the Royal Border Railway Viaduct, and is behind us. Will sort some shots of that but in the meantime, Dee did a pano showing all three. Cant show it here as it was shot on a Sony but here is the link if you want to have a look

I am sorry, but I find the first one a bit soft ... not sharp.
                With kind regards,

not that i doubt you Friso but where in paricular - to my eyes the main aspect of the shot, the bridges look fine
