    Todays Sunset

    I set out hoping for a dramatic red sky unfortunately it didn't happen but managed this one instead.

    ISO = 100
    Aperature = f11
    Shutter = 1/8
    focal length = 25mm

    Lovely Paul, although I have a slight reservation with the horizon being in the centre.. I think it works though !!!....

          Cool shot. I hiked about 4 miles up the campsies for mine last night. I'm still too tired to even import the pictures. Didn't get back to well after 11pm.

              Thanks everyone I hadn't even noticed the horizontal being in the middle oops. This was taken 10 mins from my house I love living near to the countryside lol

                        It's very nice! I'm happy with the composition too, as already mentioned, you have interest in both halves of the scene.

                            Yes, indeed break the rules. But I would crop of some of the top ... for some more depht.

                              I'm in the "Like it as it is" camp. I think it works because the horizon isn't a flat line.

                              Saw this on Flickr and was going "wow" before I even knew who'd taken it. I'd be chuffed to little mintballs if it was mine.
