    Henton Mission

Henton is a small hamlet in the parish of Chinnor, Oxfordshire. The Rector & Churchwardens had this Mission Room built in 1886 to satisfy the local populace since there was no church in the area. Services were held once a month!

The Mission is now preserved at the Chiltern Open Air Museum, another local attraction to me that I'd ignored for too long!
