    Autumnal tones

Up on Ramshaw rocks the other night and it looks as though autumn was coming in quick up there .whilst up there I spyed a red grouse on one of the rocks sticking out above the heather cracking composition around it ,would have been a good shot but the 17-40 was no where near ,going to add the 70-200l soon me thinks ,anyway shot a few and this was one of the better ones. The missus says it looks like a man smoking and the cloud is the cigarette smoke

Interesting shapes and colours, I like it.
Not sure what the 70-200 would have added to this shot, if anything I think a tad wider so the rocks were not quite so close to the left edge.

Gorgeous colours throughout Dave will interest all the way through the image.

I might be tempted to dodge the stacked rocks a little ?

Cheers guys ,the 70-200 wouldn't be for this shot it would been have for the red grouse that I had spotted earlier that the 17-40 had no chance of capturing due to the size of the grouse and distance away
I see what you mean about the rocks ,I might have lightened the shadow a bit too much ,but I'm ok with it at the moment though. cheers for taking a look.
