    B&W Landscapes

It has been a while since I have been out with the camera and today the wife and I decided we would take our two girls to Spurn Point for the first time. Unfortuneatley it was very overcast and very windy which meant that B&W was the only real option and I couldn't do any long exposures due to my light weight tripod.

I don't normally process my photos into B&W so any constructive critique is welcomed.

I love the first one Paul, the way the water licks around the posts.

    Well done, very atmospheric images.

I like both of these, but the second nudges it for me.

Did you process in PS or with something else ? I ask because someone suggested Silver Efex for B&W conversions, but I haven't gone for it yet. It comes in a package with 3-4 other "efex" products and I couldn't face dealing with a whole new raft of processing programmes!
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

great couple of images Paul - and I agree with Bo the second would be my preference, but I would be happy with either

I'm pretty sure Silver Efex comes as a one month demo? so download it and give it a go, its really very easy to us along with a load of presets as well.. If your a LR or PS it directly plugs in so moving between programs is also easy

B&W suits the conditions. Nice shots Paul.

You made the most of the conditions - the 1st shot for me. Well done Paul.
