    A stormy Southwold

    We had a trip to Southwold at the weekend. It was very wet and windy for a time. I had planned a few long exposure shots but the wind was too fierce – even with my sturdy tripod I would have been struggling to get some sharp images. I took this one from the pier looking back at the town. A B&W conversion in LR seemed to work best.

                Love the clouds Tony, gives the image a toy camera kind of feel.

                          I think you have managed to capture the real essence of a blustery day at a British seaside resort- that vaulting sky with the movement of the clouds echoes so well the onrush of waves onto the beach. Excellent
