    Eilean Donan

I had to go over to Inverness a week ago so took the camera in case I had the time to stop. The conditions were perfect on the way there but time was pressing so I had to make do with the opportunities on the way back.

Unfortunately Photobucket has done a good job of softening and reducing the punch of a good picture but anyway you can get some idea...

      Really nice!

The tide's always been out whenever I've passed so it's nice to see it surounded by water hiding the seaweed and giving a great reflection

      Cheers,
      John

Thought I'd add a crop to show up the detail a bit better. It's still way sharper in Lightroom at 100%.

It was the 24-105L lens btw.

Nice reflection and you picked the right time to keep some blue in the sky

I gave up using photobucket long ago - flickr is much better although sometimes it may slightly oversharpen on download to the forum but that is much better than softening
