    River Tees Low Force

This image (#1) is from October last year and I've only just got round to processing it, trying to PP it with some Nik filters. The second image was processed just after the date I made it.

    #1 Processed today.

    Exif: 5Diii, 24-105 at 24mm, ISO100, f16, 3sec

    #2 Processed last year

Exif: As #1 except FL is 75mm and 1.5 sec

Of the two I prefer the 1st one Peter, the water really leads you in to the picture.

The second is a little too brown for my liking.

Two very nice shots Peter, like the movement in the water. Must visit this place.

A nice set Peter, but of the 2 I do like the 1st using the water as a lead into the image.

Plenty of opportunities for different compositions there Bill. There's Gibsons Cave nearby as well. I'm not sure if I have posted any images of it on here though but...I do have some on my Flickr Photostream.

It's the first one for me. The colours are better, and as others have said the leading lines work well.

                    Re: River Tees Low Force

Peter, I'm going to go against the flow in preferring the second, I find the main point of interest just too distant in the first. I wasn't sure about the pp at first, but decided I like the almost 'painted' effect.

Thanks Wayne, Andy, Ian and Alex for taking time to look and comment.

Alex you have confirmed my thoughts, the second one was printed before. Christmas and is hanging on the wall, as directed by SWMBO [emoji6]

I with Alex on that. My first thought was that a crop at nearer 50mm might increase the impact of the waterfall in the first shot. IMHO!

I'm sorry but smoothing the flow ruins both for me ,i'm not a fan of the nd long exposure of water shots ,works sometimes for the sea ,to me it makes any picture (not just yours ) look like a badly painted oil painting ,just my emperors new clothes point of view

First for me, the long sweep of the river Tees really adds to the composition.
