    River Stour at Muscliff

Although the river is only a 5 minute walk from my house it is an area I usually only visit in the summer for the butterflies and dragonflies but with lovely blue sky this afternoon went down with landscapes in mind. Both shots are HDR as processed by the camera - @ -1, 0 and +1 ev

nice looking landscape Stan - the first one works best for me, and it goes to show that HDR doesn't have to be about over processed images

      Cheers Ian

and it goes to show that HDR doesn't have to be about over processed images
yes, these were on the "natural" setting but some like art vivid are really over the top

Nice shots Stan - I like the first one best too, the colours are nice and strong. Interesting it was done in your camera - for PP I must admit I do like the 'Aanthony Morgantirganti' type processing in LR of landscapes with blue skies.

do you find when you use the incamera HDR image that its clipped? if shooting this way I try to give myself as much editing space as possible

I agree about natural over the other settings

            Thanks Tony

not that I had noticed, these are cropped a little to remove some distractions from the edges. Must admit I prefer the perspective with my 10-22, which was left at home, next time I think I will use that and hopefullty when there is some snow or frost on th ground

Nice shots Stan, prefer the third one for the viewpoint.

No.3 edges it for me Stan. Was there any wind? Might have been nice to add a touch of blur in the water and clouds.

#1 for me, a lovely shot. The other two are less appealing to me as the top of the trees are amputated.
