After leaving the car show yesterday, I noticed the old church steeple against the modern background.

Nicely spotted Tom. I like the contrast between old and new but something isn't quite gelling for me in the processing. Looks too washed out I think. I know your preference for B&W but might this have worked better in colour?

Thanks Andrew, it was a difficult shot because the bottom bart of the church was in dark shadow and the top have was reflecting the light from all the glass buildings around it.

Well seen Tom - a title like 'to which God do you pray to' would seem appropriate.
Like all good reportage photography the technical qualities are some times less important than the imbedded visual message.

Personally I would have done something to line up the windows to the right. The whole image being slightly tilted doesn't feel right. I prefer to see things either straight or clearly intentionally crooked.
