Very nice, Nancy, particularly the cropped version. A touch of sunlight on one of the valley sides would have lifted it a touch, but I like the clever vertical composition.Canon EOS 7D

A stunning shot and I can understand why you chose the vertical composition to emphasise the river did you try Horizontal composition to get the road/path coming in from the bottom right of the frame. It is still a stunning shot that I wish I had taken1Dmk2, Canon 70-200 f4 L Non-IS & a borrowed canon 28mm
