Hi,
Photo of Slioch in North West Scotland. The picture was taken from a vast boggy moor with little or no interesting foreground features (you can see some pine trees on the right if you have a magnifying glass to hand). To say it was a wet bog crossed by streams & deep pools is an understatement. A friend had walked out a little way into this area and after one fateful step found himself up to his chest in water, moss & mud. He cried for help & after some time a friendly 'tog' tried to pull him out to no avail. Fearing he would sink further and drown he ran for help. When he got back (with help) the poor fellow had managed to get himself in a horizontal position and was therefore more easily pulled out. He now has the new nickname of 'boggy'.
Back to the image below - a sleet & hail storm had rushed up the loch and as the sky cleared the mountain Slioch started to appear. The top never fully cleared so this shot was the best I could do.
