    Swanage Old Pier

    This is a location which has been shot to death by photographers but we went on Friday hoping to get something a bit different and a sky with a few clouds in it. However it was just clear blue but there was a fisherman gutting his catch close by, so we waited until he moved off towards the pier. Unfortunately I was using my 9 stop grad and the fisherman and boat were blurred , so this is Dee's shot - thought it looked better in mono

    The cut almost panoramic is perfect for this scene.
    The curve of the barriers ( if is correct the translation in English ) drives the eye to the horizon and the b / w is very pleasant and works very well. A nice photo, Stan

        Works well with the Boat, adds a lot to the pic. Conversion suits it too.

                  Yes I like it to, especially the reflection in the foreground. I might have been inclined to remove some of the gulls in the water towards the background.
