    Lone Tree

    Saw this old tree and building whilst driving around - I would have liked to give the tree a little more space but there was roads either side - still think it works ?

    Works for me mate,reminds of the Lake District with the fells in the distance and the old barn,looks Like a nice bit of light too.

      I used Topaz filters during the process so that warmed it up a tad and helped pull a bit more detail from the clouds

        Love the colours, detail and composition but could it do with a degree or two anti-clockwise twist? Is the darkness in the top right due to the filters?

          yes I can see what you mean about a slight twist, the tree/house was on the side of hill but could do with a little twist - I've had a look at the original and whilst the top corner is bluer I think the topas filter has pulled this out a tad more

            Edit - worked out the dark blue corner John its the vignetting used - if I pull that back it goes
