    98 Acres

A bit different this. The day after we climbed Adam's Peak we were in a town called Ella which has a Small Adam's Peak and being greedy at collecting mountains called Adam's Peak we had to bag it :) The walk starts through a tea estate and this is looking over the tea to a resort called 98 Acres. I liked the contrast of the vivid green (immaculately kept) tea bushes against what looks like a storm building for later in the day.

    Thanks for looking
    Scott

I know Ella as well Scott. My brother in law was the Manager of the Ella Tea estate and I have enjoyed visiting him and his family there on my visits to Sri Lanka. A lovely part of the world and rather cold. You are bringing back my good memories!! A very nice shot and very sharp and colourful. Nice contrast with the sky.

Excellent mate ,like the vibrant green against the threatening rain clouds.

Thank you Tom, Ian, Nat, Chris and Dave. Nat I understand it is cooler in Ella than elsewhere but it was still hot enough for me.

Interesting shot, I do think though that you are neither one thing or the other with the size, I think I would be tempted to crop some off the bottom to just below the grey bridge in the middle, make it a bit more letterbox??

Just a thought though, feel free to ignore.

                Regards Paul

So much detail and clarity. A lovely view Scott, like it just as it is.

                    Re: 98 Acres

Thanks Paul - the intent was to show the contrast of the tea with the sky and I think if I cropped out the bottom you wouldn't see the structure of the tea bush. Not saying I'm right, just how I "saw" it. BTW the grey bridge is actually the beginning of another resort building - ideally it wouldn't be there but I find reality intrudes all the time :)

                    Thanks Alan.
