    Heather in the Mist

    Another from my day out with Angus Bruce. This was from further round the loch from the other shot and designed to get in closer to the heather rising through the lochside which looks like mist after being slowed by the long exposure.

    Colour first then mono as I can't decide which I favour.

          Thanks Paul, Chris and Neil. Colour is what I think I'm coming around to as well - think I need to get hold of Google's Nik collection to get better processing of the B&W.

            Nice effective composition Scott.
            Both images have merits in their own rights, the mono version has lovely contrast in the sky accentuating the detail but the colour shot edges it for me also - the subtleness adds just the little bit of extra interest.

              Great shot Scott, do like the composition. Colour for me too please. Nick software is well worth the investment, I use it for all my mono work, sometimes though only as a starting point.

                Both nice, Scott Prefer the extra contrast you have in the sky on the mono, but overall the colour has more interest for me.
