    Local Town Hall

    They do like there grand town halls here ;o) .....

    First outing with new lens and its gong to be a learning experience, one of the big problems sun flares !

    A great start with the new lens Ian.
    I like the symmetry of the image, the colours and the plant on the left that just breaks up the hard lines.

        Without it Ian I think the location would look very impersonal - the plant helps "soften" the image (not the sharpness!)

              I like it, not spoiled by harsh shadows which can often be a problem with these sort of shots

                  Wow.. that looks to be some lens.

                  When you consider the AoV I guess it is going to require care to keep the sun out of the way...

                    yes that is something you have to be aware of and a problem I found using it for the first time yesterday - also having a fixed hood doesn't help

                        Nice image and a great way to show capabilities of the lens.
                        Not surprised flare is an issue it's something I've found I need to be aware of with the 16-35.
