    Pastel dawn

Haven't been out much lately as work is ridiculously busy so I though while I had 5minutes I'd get my fix of photography. One from last April looking in to hope valley again .thanks for looking

Like that Dave. The low cloud formation is great and can see why you called it 'pastel dawn'. Initially looked and thought it needed a poke but no, it works well.

Nice pastel pic Dave. Did you not get the chance to take a pic with just the top of the chimney showing, instead of Earle's Preheater Plant blotting the landscape.

                Like that.

Just the right intensity to capture the feeling of a cool morning before the rest of the world's awake.

The industrial building makes it an interesting shot as it invites one to think about the relationship between it and the surrounding pastoral scenery.

Nice one Dave. The orange of the sky works so well with the rest of the image
