    Sun Voyager - Reykjavik

Haven't had much of a chance to get some new shots so pulling stuff out from the archive. I can't remember why this wasn't processed first time around, possibly because I was auditioning processing software and attempting to learn what to do with it at the same time as learning photography.

Anyway this is a sculpture on the waterfront in Reykjavik that we all take pictures of when we go there :) If I had Photoshop I would attempt to remove the guy to the front right. Can't seem to achieve this cleanly in LR5 so he is still there.

Its a great sculpture, you've got really nice light. When I photographed it there was no one there but light wasn't quite so good

Fanatic I sculpture Scott with gorgeous light too.

With a touch of cloning and spot healing brush the guy will be gone in a flash

Nice light and an interesting piece of artwork Scott. As Alan said the fisherman on the right could be removed but... sometimes I think a human figure gives a sense of scale to an image like this.

love the shot - and I can see what you mean about the guy, humans do spoil a good photo LOL...

I think its doable in LR - but a couple of clicks in PS, go on spend the cash you can't take it with you

                  Thanks for your comments guys.

Next time I need to upgrade LR I plan to go the subscription route and hence will have PS as well, so cleanups should be easier from what I understand. I also realise that I cut-off the circular base of the sculpture which was a bit clumsy. Next time ...
