Mayfield lavender field with 3-stop filter

I recently got myself the Cokin filter set, which comes with a standard 1, 2 and 3 stop ND filters. Its first outing was my annual trip to the lavender field just outside Banstead in Surrey.
This is with the 3-stop filter, and was broadly the effect I was hoping for:

It wasn't helped by the fact that it was a very bright day, and the hordes of other people in the field (not unusual for a weekend at peak flowering time).
I am still a complete novice, so I did have a go at stacking the filters, and naively thought I could leave it on Av as it seemed to be metering something, however these just came out far too dark so I'll be practicing in the garden with an exposure app before I try that again.

I quite like that. I use an exposure app for my 10 stop and it works quite well

Like that Alex, colour across the shot using the filter works well.

Nice effect Alex, what exposure app do you use?

Paul, Neil, Tom, thanks for the comment. To be honest I know it's not the greatest image in the world, but there's enough there to make me want to experiment more with the filters I've got.
Tom, I've had a quick look at the available apps and I'm not sure what to go with yet; will try a few out.
