    cloud cover

    Taken this morning looking over too the Cheshire Plains, taken using the 70-200 f4l again. Im beginning to enjoy this lens for landscape,. also noticed if I keep the lens around f8 rather my usual f11 the image quality seems to improve .thanks for looking

    Dave - that's lovely - I really like the way the sun picks out the hill and stand of trees on it and makes it leap out from the murk behind.

              Lovely dreamy landscape, Dave. Could have been painted by an old master. Only shame is the rather ugly black thing (roof? car park?) bottom left. How dare someone build that in that view...?
