Sometimes it's good to go out for an evening meal

We decided to have a bit of a run out this afternoon, stayed out and had a meal. Captured this for dessert. This is a rather quick edit, hopefully without too many schoolboy errors. I've taken a couple of lens flare spots out resized and sharpened for posting here.

agree - best of both worlds keep the Mrs happy with a meal ( Mac D's ) out and you get a drive home to find this

whats the blue thing in the middle? its really standing out and my eyes keep getting pulled towards it

Thanks for all your comments everyone, I was chasing the sky up hill and down dale to get to a spot that I hoped the scene would do justice to the sky. Alan is correct that blue thing spotted by Hawkeyes Tigger [emoji3] is a road. For those interested it's the road between Westerdale and Kildale but closer to Westerdale.

As an aside Mrs ST used her phone posted her image on a well known social media site. Her image currently had fifteen likes my has one! I think I'll swap the 5D3 for a phone [emoji86][emoji87][emoji85]

Hawkeyes ere ....I would still pull it back a tad, be interested to hear what others think

As for Iphone sunsets I know just what you mean my wife has got some stunners with just pointing and shooting often whilst I'm driving from somewhere and she'll point out the amazing sky and click with the phone ......grrrrrrr annoying

Amazing colours.
We had the same or similar sunset here in East yorkshire last night but i was only able to see it through my kitchen window, glad somebody did it justice a great shot

What a lovely sky, I think if it were mine I would crop quite a bit off the bottom, whilst the heather is nice it doesn't have the same impact as the sky and I feel if you lost 1/2 - 2/3 of the foreground you have an even more powerful image.
