    Sea views in Altea

Managed to get out for 5 yesterday - but the day was a bit hazy in the end so couldn't get the shots I really wanted - This one didn't come out too bad

Nice shot Ian. Something is happening around the lamp on my monitor though; the haze or have you been removing cables?

Nice image Ian; lovely foreground exposure. They are security conscience with those bars on the windows.....

          thanks Tony ..

a lot of properties in Spain have them, thankfully we don't as we live on an urbanisation with CCTV & street patrols ....but at a cost ;o(

Lovely view that man. Shame though that the roof line interrupts the horizon

Really nice As with so many of your local shots I'm impressed with the absence of litter!

There is a little ghost to the right of that lamp but I hadn't noticed it until Andrew so kindly brought it to my attention

              Cheers,
              John

cheers John - TBH Altea is very clean at least in the old town as its a big pull for tourists

I thought I'd sorted all the ghosting, I'll have to have a look again

It is a nice shot but as others have said that lamp is not quite right looks like a strong halo around it to me though it doesn't look to bad on flikr,
and would be nice if you could see the rocks in full that are in the distance maybe shoot one/two steps higher if possible?

Yes nice shot Ian. The lamp is shimmering in the heat, as you know that could not happen in the UK, more likely frost hanging from it.
