    Pining for Pleasure

What a surprise, a period of high pressure and some settled weather which makes a pleasant change from the cold wet windy summer we had in this part of the world.

Couldn't waste the opportunity for a few days around Glen Affric, a National Nature Reserve where the remnant of the ancient Caledonian pine forest is being restored.

I think the famous (to those of a certain vintage) summer of '76 was the last time I was in Glen Affric as a kid when visiting cousins in Inverness. High time I made a return visit. Great images Skylines.
