Shot around an hour after sunrise, this old landing stage is a favourite perching place for the pelicans, although I waited for most to move on before taking this shot

it is actually an in camera HDR and it has produced a good likeness of what the scene was like at that time of day

I do have ND grads but did not take them or my sturdy tripod to Florida as we were mainly looking to photograph wildlife
