    Iron Bridge near Telford

This image is an HDR combination using 5 images shot using my 1Dx. It was handheld with quite variable lighting. I chose to use HDR because of the high contrasts in the gorge to the sky. I'm glad I did. Shooting from this side of the bridge was the most awkward because of the position of the sun so I had to wait abit for clouds to mask it. It was processed in LR6 using photomerge/HDR with no adjustments to the merge (I'm not any good at adjustments) followed only by a bit of Clarity slider

Its a great place to go especially with some detail in the sky.

Both great shots, but the first has the edge with its warmth and depth.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment. in the second shot I was waiting ages for a clear view but as luck would have it when others see you with a camera lined up for a shot they tend to move in to take the same shot! So I had to make do. I quite like it and am pleased with the days shoot. It was a three and a half hour motorbike ride each way to get them so I'm smiling.

Andre, the second is good, but the first is excellent. Intelligent use of HDR, subtly applied, and lovely composition. I like the inclusion of the people too.
