    Crazywell Cross At Dawn

I went out with the intention of trying to get another star trail and or the Geminids meteor shower last night and thought this cross would make a good backdrop (looking the other way) but I don't think it quite worked although I've not processed them yet. On the plus side I got this once the sun came up. It's a bit of a common shot in these parts but maybe nor so often with early light on it.

    And these:

Nice set, but the landscape image is my pick of the bunch.

Interesting series Wayne, I think the last one is the stronger followed by the first. However I think the last one may be improved by a crop off the right ( to the right of the first stone in from the right). My suggested crop would also make the cross less central

Prefer the last image Wayne, a bit of drama to it

Another vote for the last one Wayne but I also like the effect of the different lighting in the first shot.

I'm for the last shot as well, think the great sky is what does it for me.
Had to look at flickr as the images have disappeared?

Cheers All. Paul, they should still be there, maybe Flickr's playing up.

Wayne, I'm going to go against the majority and say the first is my favourite; lovely light on the cross and great positioning in the frame. Also love the lichen texture on the second and the edge lighting on the third. The last is actually my least favourite (though it is nice).

Good set Wayne. The first and last for me, last just edges it as it shows the entire scene, and what a scene it is
