St Martin-in-the-Fields

St Martin-in-the-Fields is one of my favourite London churches, I particularly love the simplistic window. All shots taken with bracketed exposures and manually combined in PSE (I really should get some decent HDR software).

Underneath the church is a lovely crypt area that includes a cafe:

...and a lot of the headstones that were excavated from the crypt. This was my favourite, but was a real struggle to capture and process.

Three good images Alex. I'm a sucker for the arched roof of a crypt, and I think you've done well with Henry Croft. The window caused a momentary double-take. Different!

Ian, Alan, Russell, Stan, Andy and Bill, thanks for your kind comments. This is definitely worth a visit if you are near Trafalgar Square. The church itself is very focused towards supporting the community, and you do have to pick your way past the homeless people sleeping in the pews.
