    West Burton Falls

I've taken this bonny little fall hundreds of times, and if I'm passing, usually stop off (you can park next to the falls), stopped by yesterday, the light was a bit flat, but the late sun came out for a short while, giving some nice reflective light, so I used a 10 stopper to try and intensify the light.

I would say it was worth stopping! Lovely light. Does it need levelling a bit though?

I like the composition and use of the big stopper but I think the water is just a tad too "milky" and overall the image a little dark. Perhaps increase exposure by 1/3 stop and lift the shadows

Nice image - I can't make my mind up on the colour cast here, did you try adjusting WB and playing with a few options

If you look at the bottom of the waterfall its level Patrick, but I can see why you would think it needs leveling

Well done Les. I like the composition, the milkiness of the water, and how you used the light against the shadows to lead the eye towards the falls

Well captured Les, one of my favourite spots to call in to, I would have expected to see more water at this time of the year given all the rain we've had recently.

Very nice, I like the composition and the water from the long exposure.
