    Another visit to Glen Affric

The last time I was in Glen Affric was October when I had hoped for some autumn colour but I was a bit too early.
As there is still some snow on the hills I took a few days out to camp last week and hopefully have a walk, canoe a while and take some pictures. The high pressure was set in for the week so it was looking good.

At the end of the public road there is a viewpoint on a knoll, looking west over Loch Affric.(must go back when the heather is in flower)

Swing round a bit to northwest.

A bit back down the glen and up a good track into a valley between the hills a waterfall is marked on the map, worth a look.

    And just above this fall.

Unfortunately the rest of the time was overcast and although I had a canoe on a completely flat loch with perfect reflections and cloudless sky I forgot to take the camera.

An absolute pleasure to look at these lovely shots. Went there donkey's years ago when my parents were alive and it reminded me of that day.
