    Monastery Ceiling

an old shot never processed as I could make my mind up on the direction to go ...think I've nailed it now but interested to hear views

It was the mouldy bit of plaster in the corner that first got my attention and processed that to bring it out

    Re: Monastery Ceiling

Has rather an abstract feel due to the colours and the slight asymmetry on the cupola. I like your processing

However I'm not stunned by this ceiling, perhaps because I wasn't there. Probably not as memorable as some of your other, more ornate, ceilings. At least the monks could concentrate on their prayer rather than gazing Heavenwards all the time!

Agree not as ornate as some you have posted but still far better than anything in the UK

cheers for the feedback guys - yes I'll agree its not as stunning as some, but I still think worthwhile to take and spending a little time on the processing to get the look I was after

Well processed (naturally!) but agree there are probably better ceilings to look at.
