    Through the square window

Don't think I've seen a shot like this before on here? Shot through an upstairs window from Kensington Palace looking out onto Hyde Park, London.

There is something about it that appeals to me. Yes I know the frame is very in your face but isn't that what we see when we look through a window?

Nice, Alan, very nice. Love the fact that you have different and distinct scenes through each pane, so it keeps moving your interest around the image. Is this one shot or is it focus stacked?

don't see how it could be focus stacked as I'm sure he said no tripod, but I was wondering myself as its only at F8 - great DoF on that 10-20

Thanks everyone for your comments. Pleased you all see the same shot that I did.

It's one shot Alex and yes, the 10-20 is proving to be a great lens. A little soft right at the extreme edges but I can live with that at the price.

As I said on Flickr, I really like this as its a really unusual viewpoint, really works.

I like this the composition with the window frame coming out from the bottom left works well. Well captured Alan
