    Storm on the sky

I went for a drive around on Friday night. Didn't have a plan just thought I would see what I could find I was giving up hope but came across these farm buildings where the last of the sun was hitting the side of the buildings.

Great light hitting the white building. Balances well with the stormy clouds. Nice one Paul

Lovely image, Paul. Not only a stunning sky, and great lighting on the farmhouse, but also a very rare example of where telephone lines actually add to the shot by adding a frame within the frame.

Thanks everyone. I must admit that I have been hoping for a shot like this ever since I saw Andy's version. I am very happy with this one.

That's a great sky. Oddly enough my first thought seeing the pic was that you'd been Stateside and captured on of those great Mid-western storms..

Unlike Alex I'm not so sure about the telephone cables though, they cut through the picture and I find that visually distracting.

                          Still worth though.

Thanks Nigel I wasn't sure about the telephone wires at first but I walked away from the image for a few hours and then came back to it and decided that I liked them there I felt that they added something, however I can understand why some people may not feel the same.

The farm buildings reminded me of some images I have seen of american farms aswell.
