    Dead tree at sunset

    Hi all,

    A bit of a rush job as got home at sunset but lucky for me for me this is the view at the bottom of my garden. This is a pano of 5 photos merged together in LR.

      Both are done very well. Of the two, I like the composition of the 2nd image. For me it really brings out the loneliness of that tree

        Agree with Tom, second is more powerful. A touch more from at the top on the first would help

          its the first for me, but it needs a bit of space at the top - still nice work Ben

            Thanks guys, the second photo was my main shot, the pano was a bonus as the light was still good and I wanted to test out my new tripod. Hoping to gets few more psno's over the summer

              With the first you really do need to add some canvas at the top or, easier, just clone over a little of the topmost branch which will do the same job

                  I prefer the panorama, the single shot needs a bit more space for me to give the lone tree feel. Great sky though...

                  View from the bottom of your garden is way better than mine...

                      Both are good, but I agree with some of the others about the first needing a bit more space at the top.
