CodaThere will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!

Hi Glenn, Thanks for the comments the DOF was an experiment as much as enything, I was pretty happy with the end results but must invest in a set of filters, that will however have to wait for a few months.
As for sunsets this field would not be much good as the orientation is all wrong, the area may be OK for a sun-rise one of these days

I like these , #1 is favourite.
I would suggest #1 could be cropped square - leaving the left hand third off....it would make a stronger composition I think....with the power lines leading in from the top left...just my opinion.Brian Vickers LRPS
