    IMO Jeff a slower shutter speed to soften the water would work well for this image.

      thanks tom ,out of my comfort zone with stuff like this it was just a spotted on walkabout shot ,not pre-planned

        I can see Tom's viewpoint, but I like this image the way you've caught it as it offers a very crisp sharp look - nice work Jeff

            This is one situation where green definitely means danger - would not try standing on one of those rocks! In this instance I like the frozen water and the colour.

              I know the current vogue is to go with slow shutter speeds. I just sometimes like the crisp, bubbling water just as much. I remember the excitement of my father many, many years when his camera had a fastest shutter speed of 1/500 sec, and now we can beat that hands down.

                  I like this shot, yes some look great using a slow shutter speed, but I think you nailed this shot
