      I was just thinking that for some reason this image along with the Boscombe Pier doesn't really seem to float anyones boat, wish I knew why

        Its a good image Stan, just missed in my brief look at the forum whilst ferrying my mum to doctors appointment yesterday.

          There's an ugly walkway right across the scene and o load of debris trapped by the weir in the bottom left. Apart from that it's an ok picture but it still wouldn't do much for me Stan

              thanks guys

              This was the only shot from the brief session that was worth keeping. I had been hoping the sun would be setting over the river to the right so I could shoot from the bridge but it was in the wrong position and any colour very quickly disappeared beneath the clouds so this was the composition to go for with the contrast between the stillness of the water on one side and the movement over the weir

                      What was the exposure time?
                      3 exposures, 1/6. 1/13. 1/3 sec and processed with Nik HDR and photoshop
