    Medieval Bruges

Here are a few shots from a 36 hour trip to Bruges in the early part of last month. I still have at least another 200 odd shots to look through and edit when I finally get time.

I know this next one isn't of a landscape, but I spotted him as I left the beer wall and thought he was cool.

Wishlist: Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC USD and an EOS 5D III to sit it on.

Too much wide angle distortion for my taste.

Nice varied selection. First is my favourite with that great low point of view, the timing to get the horse so well positioned and the reflected light on the kerbstones. For the second I think it would be improved by straightening the verticals, and the third I think I'd remove the furniture encroaching on the left, but I do like the graduated colour in the sky and the angle. And I agree the last is very cool.

A good set and I particularly like the first. 10mm at ground level is never going to provide the most upright of verticals but it all seems to work and the lovely glint from the curb is a nice touch

              Cheers,
              John
