Dear all,
please forgive my enthusiasm but today i celebrate 2 major eveniments....one is my country national day, and the second one is my mother's 80 years birthday. In my country every year on 1st of December we have a parade ...here is what i love most of all in my country...thank you for your understanding.

basicaly my town Bucharest it was named in the past "The little Paris"...this town is the first one in the world which was enlighted with petroleum oil. The name "The Little Paris" came from the fact that here the life was comparable with that in Paris. One of our best architects were colleague with Gustave Eiffel, that's why we have here an identical replica of the "Arc de triomphe" , it was initally build from wood and now is made from stone blocks, being a bit smaller in hight as the original. Also for those who don't know yet, the famous Tour Eiffel was build in Romania in the Resita town.
And a small fact: the famous american sport "Baseball" is in fact our national sport "Oina" The principles were copied from our national sport. It has few hundred years ( it was played first time in 1370) old and basically Baseball ( was played first time in England in 18th century) is Oina's nephew.
So this is just one of the stories about my country.
