Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber

Pentre Ifan is a Neolithic chambered tomb.

Wasn't too happy with the images I took during summer trip to Wales as light wasn't fantastic and there is an ugly fence running round the site.

Looking at this one again though it showed the placement of the tomb in the landscape and looks like its pointing to the horizon.

Personally I prefer your shot to the one presently being used on the cadw.gov.wales website ... nice shot.

Thanks for comment, hadn't seen the image myself.

Don't know if you've seen the 80's film 'Flight of the Navigator' (I saw it loads of times, my son loved it when he was young), the top stone in their image looks rather like the space craft from this film.

I wouldn't want to get too close! Looks decidedly rickety after all these years.

But nice photos!
