    Skylight Russian style

    back home ;o)

awful weather with the first week of rain - second week heavy snow and made it impossible to get anything... I think I've got some to work with and this was the only blue sky and lasted about 30 mins!! NEVER going back to Russia in the winter

Skylight in Russia by Ian Theobald, on Flickr

On a side note flipping the sky .... what PS method do you use? I've got some photos that are so grey and dull I'm not even going to try unless I can swap the sky well

    Welcome back

    Nice colours and symmetrical :

This is a tutorial I use for Sky replacement, mainly for where there are trees etc in the way but would work equally as well for your situation

In this Photo Retouching tutorial, learn how to easily replace the sky in an image using the Advanced Blending sliders in Photoshop!

Well up to the standard and style we've come to know and love and good to see the transition to the new 5Div has been smooth

Stan's link is the tutorial I've had bookmarked for ages and hope to one day get around to watching

            Cheers,

Good to have you back mate and a signature shot to come in with too

Last sky I swapped was using layers and a mask. A bit more time consuming but with patience it can be done
