Another from my 'Kingswear' series and looking across the river to Dartmouth with the grand Yacht Club on the right:

I wanted to include the three signs on the left so didn't crop out the white house as, below the blue sign, is one that says "Public Footpath" and bizarrely points down the slipway! Checking maps I see it is, indeed, a public footpath to the water's edge and matches an equally short one on the oposite bank so my guess is this is the site of an ancient ferry crossing that pre-dates the current Lower Ferry situated 200 feet upstream.
